This afternoon at about 1pm, the Regional Cosplay Championship ‘09 was held, with six finalists showing off their array of costumes based off hit anime/manga and performing skits from said anime/manga. Judging the contest are representatives of Animax alongside renown cosplayer Kaname.
All were good, but the Singaporean team of Dual Infinity (i.e: the one with the Gundam suit) took home the grand prize. What do the duo win? Why, it’s 2 tickets to Tokyo, Japan and 2 sets of Harajuku Lovers Fragrance.
Congrats to the Singaporean duo; especially since it was tough for the Gundam cosplayer to move around blind on-stage. Check out the rest of the contestants though: they’re looking sweet too.
