Friday Fives – Awesome Flash Games

Posted in Friday Fives

If you don’t have a job that allows you the luxury of playing games all day while calling it work, and you’re looking for something to tide you over until you can get home to fire up your Xbox/PS3/PC, look no further.

In a completely work-related and not at all time wasting exercise, I have trawled the Internet looking for the best flash games out there that have nothing to do with stacking jewels. These games are just like playing the real thing!

5. Achievement Unlocked

Just Like Playing: XBox 360/PS3

Make an argument for the downgrade from next-generation graphics if you like, but Achievement Unlocked, aimed squarely at Gamer Score addicts by being solely about performing random and insignificant tasks for achievement points, is probably coming to your favorite console soon.

4. Five Minutes To Kill (Yourself)

Just Like Playing: The Sims

Because everyone knows the best part of the Sims is coming up with new and imaginative ways to kill off your Sims.

3. Mekuri Master

Just Like Playing: Any Japanese DS Game Involving School Girls

Too embarrassed to explain why you want to import Doki Doki Majo Shinpan? Mekuri Master, a.k.a. The Skirt-Flip King lets you indulge your fantasies of touching Japanese school girls from the privacy of your own Internet.

2. WTF?!

wtf

Just Like Playing: World Of Warcraft

Possibly better than playing World of Warcraft. The hero race in this game (unlocked at level 80) lets you play as a Murloc!

1. Flash Portal

Just Like Playing: Portal

Actually, this one is pretty good. This 2D (and completely non-authorized) version of Valve’s game features all the gravity and momentum mechanics of the original.

Many of the puzzles are identical; there’s even a creepy computer trying to kill you.
