Be The Enemy In Dragon Age: Darkspawn Chronicles

Wish you were playing for the enemy camp rather than be a goody two-shoe Grey War? Wish you could kick butt as a Darkspawn thrall commanding a horde of Shriekers and Ogres? Wish no more: for a mere US$5 you can buy the Dragon Age: Origins add-on called Dragon Age: The Darkspawn Chronicles. From the press release:

The Darkspawn Chronicles offers players a look at an alternate history in the Dragon Age universe. Darkspawn Chronicles begins as your character dies during the Joining ceremony, and the Grey Wardens now march under Alistair’s command. As a hurlock vanguard, you alone hold the power to make thralls of their fellow darkspawn and drive them into the heat of battle as Denerim burns! This adventure gives you command of genlocks, hurlocks, shrieks, and even the mighty ogres.

So your Grey Warden didn’t survive the Joining and now Alistair’s in charge? As a vanguard, you can also use the Enthrall ability to recruit any darkspawn to your cause. Looks like all life on Denerim is more or less screwed. The add-on will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC around May 18th. Again, it’s a mere US$5 to walk on the dark side.
