In a first for Southeast Asia, the Transformers Cybertron Con 2012  will be held at Resorts World Sentosa in collaboration with Hasbro Singapore.

From 11 to 14 March 2012, Resorts World Sentosa will be host to Transformers exhibits and activies that promise to excite even the most jaded Transformer fan. The convention will feature a host of Transformers figures, cartoon animation and video games. And to add icing on the cake, Hasbro has prepared an exhibit showcasing a collection of Transformers items throughout the Transformers’ 27 year history, with artwork and information about characters and stories all being found in the exhibit.

For the artistically-inclined,there will also be previously unreleased artwork and workshops for aspiring designers as well with Hasbro artists holding drawing classes. One of the Transformers’s lead designers, Mr. Hideaki Yoke, will be present at the convention as well.

Other cool stuff to expect at the convention include a 22-foot tall Optimus Prime statue, three-dimensional action figure dioramas capturing scenes from popular TRANSFORMERS entertainment and the chance to receive limited edition 2012 TRANSFORMERS Cybertron Con souvenirs.

And if you have ever thought you could transform your Transformers figures in record time, there will be a contest to see who can clock the fastest time at transforming the action figures from robot to vehicle modes.

A Day Pass will cost $12, while a four-day VIP Pass costs $68. Other special packages include The Epic Battle Package which comprises hotel accommodation, a pair of one-day passes to Universal Studios Singapore, admission to the TRANSFORMERS Cybertron Con 2012 and the Maritime Experiential Museum & Aquarium (MEMA). This will set you back $988, unless you make reservations before 1 March, in which you will get a $100 discount. The Battle Pass, consisting tickets to Universal Studios Singapore and Cybertron Con, are also available at $77 (Adult), $62 (Child) and $48 (Senior Citizen).
