Holey s***. The sky is filled with pigs, and the devil is skating on ice to work. 2K Games just made it official that they’re publishing Duke Nukem Forever, the decade old vaporware that 3D Realms never built. This news was revealed at this year’s Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle, U.S.A. Duke Nukem Forever will be developed by Gearbox Software.
The developers plan to ship the game within the next year. Apparently the game was picked up in late 2009 after the collapse of studio 3D Realms and it’s currently in the polishing stage. I don’t really have much else to say except welcome back, Duke. We’ve missed you for so damn long.
