Eff Captain Planet; Singapore’s got their own team of super-powered environmentally-conscious heroes. Called the Eco-Friendlies, the band members of Stellar Memory brandish space ninja outfits and walk around the middle of Orchard Road preaching the ways to “go green” via songs. This entry is one of many for the NEA Eco Music Challenge 2010. Check out the video from the links below; I can’t seem to find a way to embed them on the page yet.
Hats off to the five of them; not just for running around like G-rated versions of Johnny Knoxville & co., but for donning the suit in the sweltering heat of Singapore. Don’t think I’ll last a minute in that.
