Final Fantasy XIII Coming To Xbox 360 In Japan

Posted in Industry News

Yes, it’s true: after a year of waiting, Japan will be getting the Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII, according to a scan of Dengeki and Famitsu videogame magazine (via Siliconera). This version will be called Final Fantasy XIII Ultimate Hits International. It will be sold at a non-full price game for 4,990 yen and will be out December 16th, 2010. This version will have English voice acting and a new Easy mode (really?). Better late than never, to coin an overused phrase.

Will this also mean that an Asian version of Final Fantasy XIII will be coming to the Xbox 360? If you’re still on the fence with this one, might I suggest reading my thoughts on Square Enix’s thirteenth iteration?

I am sure the English version for NTSC-J would become available. I just hope it is based on this new Ultimate Hits International ver. and not the current Europe version.
