Halo Turning Japanese

Anyone else foreseeing A.I program-slash-person Cortana having big eyes and massively stacked in light of this?
That isn’t a really well-done DeviantArt, mind you. This is a still from the recently-announced Halo Legends, a series of seven short films done in anime form. The studios involved in this big-as-heck project are Bones (Full Metal Alchemist), Casio Entertainment, Production I.G, Studio4 C, and Toei Animation. The director in charge of the overall production is none other than Shinji Aramaki, director of Appleseed & Appleseed Ex Machina.
Deny it all you want, Halo is just as big as Batman and Matrix. So much so that they have their own anime short stories crafted after them and getting big-named anime-creating studios in the mix.
Assassin’s Creed II’s Got Short Filmed

"Get the electric respirators, STAT!"
While we’re on the subject of the movie industry capitalizing on big names in videogames, Assassin’s Creed II: Lineage will be available at the end of this year, according to Ubisoft. The three-part movie will be focusing on Assassin’s Creed II’s main character’s dad, Giovanni Auditore da Firenze (phew), that will serve as a backstory to Assassin’s Creed II, which will be out November on all consoles. More details will be spilled at this week’s San Diego Comic Con.
Castlevania On Motion Picture. For Real.
Still not convinced? Here’s a poster for proof that it may be a reality, courtesy of Bloody-Disgusting.com.

Dig the Belmont(?) with the white hair. Gaze in awe at the castle with black shadowy wings. Take heed for there’s a lot of red being used to make the Belmont & the castle stand out, making this entry set in Mars. Stupid jesting aside, the guy directing this will be James Wan, who also co-created the Saw franchise. “I’m very fresh on this project, so its early stages and I’m still trying to work things out, but the producers love my vision for it,” says James Wan to Bloody-Disgusting.com. Clearly he’s interested in how the creators of Castlevania, Konami, took the Dracula mythos and gave it a Japanese spin, flying medusa heads, meat in walls, and all.
And yes, they’re keeping the Vampire Killer whip. They should, if at the end the movie turns out to be an utter pile and the producers need that one nostalgic piece to attract fans.
Castle Crashers Coming To PSN

The title and pictures says it all. Details on its release date are scarce, but it’s the same Castle Crashers you know and love. Four player co-op beat-em-up action and humor is all you need to have some fun time. Hopefully, this version’s online portion wouldn’t be borked at its PSN debut.
