The PSOne Classic PSN store will be getting a new addition in the mix: the classic RPG Grandia. In English. Well, on the US PSN store anyway. I’m sure you can find your way around that problem since most game stores here sell US PSN credits.
Moving on: Grandia was considered a pretty nifty JRPG back when it came out on the Sega Saturn on 1997. It featured a well-told tale of a boy’s journey to manhood, a likeable cast (at the time), a nifty battle system, an awesome OST composed by Noriyuki Iwadare and does not have goddamn random battles unlike the rest of the RPGs that came out at the time. The PS1 port that came out two years later, while flawed, is as close as you can get to an English-translated version of the classic. Oh yeah, and the voice acting is pretty awesome. And by awesome, I mean really, really ear-piercingly bad.
Disbarring the fact that it needs a mute button at times, you can’t call yourself a hardcore RPG gamer if you haven’t touched this classic.

Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

The voice acting is by no means terrible, I actually thought it was good. Most of the game is silent anyway.
