If you head over to the SCOGA booth (A15) today you’ll find people playing Heroes of Newerth, a RTS/tactics game based on DoTA (in fact, some people say it will soon replace DoTA in popularity). SCOGA is hosting a one day 5v5 tournament on Saturday for Heroes of Newerth. Registration costs $25 per team.

The winners of the tournament will win tickets to the Shanghai World Expo to represent Singapore as well as tickets to Dreamhack Winter 2010 in Sweden, where they’ll pit their skills against the world’s top HoNÂ teams.

If you need some practice, today (Friday) is a free play demo day for anyone that wants to try the game out.
