The new Windows 8 operating system has a lot of new features. The OS is missing the familiar home button, has multi-touch capabilities, charms, tiles and greater functionality across both PC and mobile platforms. But in an effort to add some retro flair to Windows 8, Microsoft has introduced Microsoft Studio Play in partnership with NVIDIA.
A total of 15 games including old school favorites such as Minesweeper and Pinball will now be available for Windows 8 and Windows RT via the Windows Store. The games have obviously been spruced up a bit as well with better graphics. Not only that, Microsoft Studio Play will also offer Xbox 360 like features such as leaderboards, multiplayer modes and friend lists. All titles can be demoed before you proceed to procure them. Following is the full list of titles available.
Toy Soldiers (not available on Windows RT)

Microsoft Solitaire Collection
Microsoft Mahjong
Microsoft Minesweeper
