Cute side-scrolling MMOs are coming out of the woodwork these days. Maple Story is probably the most famous example over here, with Asiasoft plugging the Aran class hard now. IAHGames has Dragonica and we’ve just noticed that there will be another game available to play in Singapore that follows a similar fashion. Mini Fighter from Netmarble. There’s a whole cutesey Street Fighter vibe going on for their character designs that we’re contemplating of giving it a spin, but we just got word that they’re going to hold a Mini Fighter Battle Championship in January with a grand prize of US$4,500. Now, that’s got my attention. Registrations started on the 21st December, and more information can be found on Netmarble’s website.
