Dead Space is “On the House” On EA’s Origin

DeadSpace_onthehouse

The first Dead Space is, in my personal opinion, still the best of the series. The claustrophobic environments and excellent sound design all come together for a horrifying space romp.  If you’ve missed out on this boot-crunching experience, you can now play catch-up for free!

EA’s Origin is kindly giving away Dead Space until 9 May, 2014.They’re tagging it as “On the House” which is, according to its description, basically an incentive for you to use the service. The offered product will be permanent additions to your library but be quick about it because these promotions “can appear and disappear at any time.”

Visceral is currently working on an unannounced Star Wars game using the Frostbite 3 engine.
