Jaws of Hakkon introduces the Avvar faction, a tribe of independent hunters that are fiercely religious—Hakkon Wintersbreath happens to be part of their pantheon. Located in the southern mountains of Thedas, expect to see forests and difficult terrain as your party journeys to “discover the fate of the last Inquisitor and the dragon he pursued.”
This being Dragon Age, there will be other distractions along the way. We’ve got an ancient Tevinter fortress to explore, a “god of war bent on destroying the world” (aren’t they all?), as well as a few new operations to find. All in all, more Inquisition business and that’s always a good thing.
As for that whole Jaws of Hakkon thing? It’s what an unfriendly group of Avarrs call themselves.
Players who own the game on other platforms will unfortunately have to wait until the Xbox One and Windows timed exclusivity expires. Such is the way of things.
