Special edition bundles are a great way of scoring unique color schemes for your new console, and those wanting a white Xbox One now have a new option thanks to the recently released Quantum Break.
Remedy Entertainment’s time-twisting thriller brings some fun new ideas to the AAA action-adventure genre. Not only do you get to play as both hero and villain, but each chapter is bookended by a live-action short that helps sell the story and atmosphere better. It helps, of course, that they got some professional actors on board. Read our review for it here.
The Xbox One Special Edition Quantum Break Bundle retails for S$569 and features a ‘Cirrus White’ Xbox One with a matching wireless controller.
This is the second of two white options currently listed for Singapore, the other being the Halo: The Master Chief Collection bundle. However, the latter costs $70 more due to the inclusion of a black Kinect sensor.
It’s interesting to see Quantum Break afforded the same level of hardware exclusivity as the beloved Halo series, but the visual experience Remedy has crafted is really quite special. This is the same studio that made Max Payne and Alan Wake, after all, and Microsoft clearly seems as enthralled as we are.
Quantum Break by itself retails for S$69.90. As a reminder, all Xbox One copies of the game include a digital download of Alan Wake and its two add-on packs, The Signal and The Writer, both of which are playable through Backward Compatibility. (You’ll want to buy a portable floodlight after playing that game.)
Alternatively, a Windows 10 version is available through the Microsoft Store.
