Rescue Rangers Revived Via Comic Book

Thanks to the medium that is the comic book, comic book company Boom! Studios will be creating an ongoing “Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers” comic that will be out this December. The script will be written by Ian Brill and the art will be done by Leonel Castellani (full interview here via ComicsAlliance)

Along with the recently-out (and recently awesome) Darkwing Duck 4-issue miniseries, Boom! Studios is trying to revive the whole Disney channel line-up. You know, back in the 90s when it was still good. However, my fondest memories of the Rescue Rangers lie in the NES games made by Capcom.

Of course, this means that there will be more buxom mouse-worshipping cults spawning from the depths of humanity. There’s already one in Russia right now; God help us all.
