STGCC 2010: Weekend Pictorial Fiesta

Because I can’t be at two places at once, I definitely missed out on a few other cosplayers with other varying outfits. Luckily, the good old local forums got that covered, and with a degree of professionalism to boot.
For those who still have yet to go, well, you kinda missed out on one of the biggest anime-themed events of the SEA region. Still, we’ve got you covered with some cosplay-picture goodness from Sunday’s event.
It was indeed a hard fight between the five countries in the Regional Cosplay Championship this year at the Anime Festival Asia X, but someone had to bring home the gold. Hit the jump for more pictures of the winners and finalists.
Why take a bunch of pictures of journalists and developers testing out what’s on tap at EA’s showcase when we have the lovely booth attendant, who has worked tirelessly into getting her Alice in Wonderland getup perfect, ready for the cameras?

AFA ‘09: Saturday’s Cosplaying Galore!

Not much to say except PICTURES! Pictures of cute girls (and guys for the female readers) in costumes and a lone Storm Trooper. Watch this space for picture updates for Saturday.
This afternoon at about 1pm, the Regional Cosplay Championship ‘09 was held, with six finalists showing off their array of costumes based off hit anime/manga and performing skits from said anime/manga. Check out the pics, will ya? They look fab.
Good news for anime/manga/Japanese culture fans out there: Anime Festival Asia has returned again this year, with the tagline “One more time!” attached to its logo and mascot. Who, what, where, and when? Right after the jump!
