Ubisoft manages to sneak in a Nintendo reference in the soon-to-be-out-in-Asia Assassin’s Creed 2. The best part about this easter egg is that it doesn’t seem to break the fourth wall so obviously, as it IS a game set in the Renaissance period in Italy.

Perhaps when Mario takes the Super Mushroom, he’ll grow to a giant, leading to a easter egg boss fight against your character (Think Shadow of Colosseus). *Ok, I was taking the Mario easter egg too literally. :p*
