Dragon Age: Origins (Xbox 360, PC)

Bioware decides to go back to their roots and make a fantasy-themed RPG with their usual staple of strategic combat and heavy narrative filled with shades of gray. I might have been a little too critical when I checked the game out for preview months back, but it’s looking to shape up as a really good RPG. I’m still not a fan of the visuals stolen from mash-ups of Lord of The Rings and D&D though. Also, check out our interview with Bioware’s Dr. Greg Zeschuk.
Lego Rock Band/ Band Hero (Wii, PS3, Xbox 360)

Yay, more kid-friendly music rhythm games we don’t need since Rock Band 2, Rock Band Beatles, and Guitar Hero 5 are already beginner friendly.
Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier (PSP)

It’s been awhile since we’ve got a new Jak and Daxter game. Now that it’s portable and picks off from the third Jak and Daxter game, there’s platforming and gunning action to be found, along with a neat twist: Daxter can now be tainted with Eco.
Right now, I’m knee deep in Borderlands and Bayonetta. Our very own Jimmy Wartooth might be busy with good old Dragon Age. How about you guys and gals?
