Death By Cube (Xbox 360)

I don’t know why, but seeing footage of this top-down shooter of sorts reminded me of this one anime called Gantz where a bunch of people take orders from a black sphere to kill aliens. Only here, you fight off cubes and take orders from no one. Yeah, there isn’t much to connect this with the rather gory anime, but whatever: this downloadable-from-Live-Arcade looks fun.

Dark Void (Xbox 360, PS3, PC)

Think Rocketeer but in the 21st century and tack on some Gears of War-style land combat. That’s Dark Void in a layman’s nutshell. Hopefully the crux of the game (the flying bits) is handled well.

Glory of Heracles (DS)

I have to ask: how does an RPG deal with death when you control a party of immortal demigods? Oh wait, I just remembered Lost Odyssey and how it deals with such a problem. Anyway, this seems like a decent DS RPG much like Sands of Destruction last week.
