Final Fantasy XIII (PS3, Now In English)
The English version of the thirteenth Final Fantasy game (the one I gave a 7.5 to on the mag) broke its street date since last week, so I assume that all of you have gotten it by now. Granted, it’s still a fun game but it’s hardly a forward step for the franchise. I also admit that the English voices are well-done here; even Vanille seems less annoying with her pseudo Aussie accent creeping out of her cheerful and unsound disposition.
Assassin’s Creed II (PC)
Yep, it’s out for the PC, now equipped with Ubisoft’s new DRM system that can only be bypassed if you’re playing the game online 24/7. A single-player game, mind you. No doubt PC gamers will be so mad as this that they’ll resort to something drastic (which then turned out to be all hot air).
Warhammer 40K Dawn of War II – Chaos Rising (PC)
The first expansion of Dawn of War II (among the many more soon to follow), Chaos Rising lets you play as the Chaos Space Marines. New campaigns, new units, and new war gear; all for your RTS/Cannon Fodder-like gaming needs.
Yakuza 3 (PS3, Now In English)
Kazoku's rendition of "Country Road" could even make American Idol's Simon teary-eyed.
Sure, they’ve omitted a few things from the game (the karaoke and hostess minigame, I think), but it’s more or less the same Yakuza game you know and love. Meaning you control a good-hearted former Yakuza thug who can kick ass and learn new moves from taking videos of everyday events from your handphone.
Bioshock 2: Sinclair Solutions Test Pack (Xbox 360, PC)
More DLC coming your way for those still playing the heck out of Bioshock 2’s multi-player mode. The new Test Pack will include more rewards for Level 50 players, new playable characters, new trials, and third weapon upgrades for each weapon.
