Mobile games have gotten really far in terms of graphical quality these days, what with quad-core processors and dedicated GPUs being the norm. If you’re tired of playing casual games, perhaps a bit of action would hit the spot. Fans of Tecmo Koei’s Dynasty Warriors franchise will appreciate Undead Slayer by Korean developers Hangame. Launched one day ago for both iOS and Android devices, the free-to-play game Undead Slayer has a similar musou attack gameplay and visual flair to Dynasty Warriors. Hangame boasts with up to 20 unique skills and 90 stages to conquer, and its claim to fame being developed by a single developer, a certain Kim Dong-gyu.
The story goes like this: You’re XiaHou Dun (Yes, the same XiaHou Dun from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms stories) fighting through a world infested with the undead (what else would a game called Undead Slayer be infested with?). Why is a legendary general doing fighting zombies? We don’t know, but check out the gameplay trailer below and judge for yourselves.
