Cooldown bars, taking turns hitting each other, phat loot from dungeoneering? Definitely looks like an MMO to me.
The combined forces of one of SEA’s big MMO publishers AsiaSoft and international MMO publisher UTV True Games will sadly not form Devastator. Instead, they’ll be bringing in the popular action-adventure MMO called Warrior Epic for South-East Asia. If you wish to check it out, Warrior Epic is now available at AsiaSoft’s @Global Games portal.
“Warrior Epic was developed in Asia with the Asian gamer in mind so we are excited to finally bring the game home to these fans,” says Jeff Lujan, Founder of UTV True Games. . “AsiaSoft is the perfect partner to help us foster new relationships with gamers in Southeast Asian territories such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and more.”
According to the presser, what separates Warrior Epic from the countless other fantasy MMOs out there is that when you croak, your spirit can be bound onto weapons to increase their abilities and skills, or be used as a one-time area-clearing effect. Guess the developers took the “spirit is willing, flesh is weak” phrase to a whole new level.
