World Of Warcraft – Core Hound Pup For Authenticator Users

Posted in General

If you’re worried about all your epix being stolen (protip: don’t click on any of the ‘Wii sex toy’ or ‘Naked woman caught by satellite’ threads on the official forums), you could get yourself a Blizzard Authenticator, which will protect you from keyloggers and other nefarious programs designed to steal your password.

Or, you could get one because when you do, you’ll get this little guy in the mail:
core_hound_pup

He rolls over, digs up bones, gets up on his hind legs and begs. For a two headed, flaming demon dog, he’s just adorable!

If you don’t want to buy an Authenticator, you can also get the pup by downloading the Mobile Authenticator app.

By the way, removing the Authenticator will also remove the pet from any of your account’s characters.

Authenticators are for life, not just for Christmas.

  1. Good point, wonderful blog. Hey, did you guys hear about Wow planning to utilize Real ID on their forum? I guess they recognized that that’s no way to win at wow, since they reversed their decision. Now we can all go back to playing World of Warcraft without worrying about compromised privacy. And they can go back to focusing on Cataclysm. WooT!!!

  2. I was actually diagnosed for a gaming habit due to World of Warcraft. I began 2 years ago, and even bought things like a horde guide to assist me to level up in the game. It slowly took over my full life, and to cut an extended story short, my friends needed to send me to the doctor. It is now 7 months since my treatment started, and I really feel completely weaned off the game. World of Warcraft is enjoyable, however I really advise not to start it when you’re someone with weak will-power like myself. Just thought I would share.

  4. Anybody have a good WoW guide? I found this WoW guide on youtube. It looks good, claims 50 gold or more per hour.
