Log onto WoW for the next week (or so) and you’ll find this in your mailbox:

whelp

She deep breathes just like her mommy – so cute! Even if she does have a face only a broodmother could love. Just like last year’s Baby Blizzard Bear, she’s bind to account too, so you only need to log onto one character per server to send her to all your alts and future alts.

The other thing going on this week is the Pilgrim’s Bounty world event, which is based on the U.S. holiday of Thanksgiving. You’ll find Bountiful Tables loaded with food near all the capital cities. Stuff yourself for an achievement. Don’t forget to share though (another achievement).

There’s also a really easy way to get your cooking to 300 this week. The Now Were Cookin’ achievement requires you to cook one each of the following food:

[Spice Bread Stuffing] Min. cooking lvl 1
[Slow-Roasted Turkey] Min. cooking lvl 280
[Cranberry Chutney] Min. cooking lvl 160
[Pumpkin Pie] Min. cooking lvl 100
[Candied Sweet Potato] Min. cooking lvl 220

Normally I avoid cooking like the plague, but you’ll notice the minimum cooking levels for the above recipes are all nicely staggered to 300. All the ingredients for the above food are also vendor sold for a few copper each. The recipes themselves come from [The Bountiful Cookbook] which sells for 1 silver from the vendors next to the Bountiful Tables.

Now there’s no excuse not to have at least 300 cooking skill! …Fishing on the other hand.
