One of the most popular tower defense games on the iPhone and iPad has come to the Nintendo DS! PopCap Games announced that Plants vs. Zombies is released today for the lucky folks in Europe and Australia who happen to own a Nintendo DS and DSiWare.

For those of you wondering what’s the difference between this and the iPhone version, it seems the hardworking folks over at PopCap have tuned the DS version to specifically feature dual-screen gameplay as well as multiplayer action via an ad-hoc wireless netwrok in the game’s Versus mode. And to top it all off, the game will feature four new mini-games and 14 achievements.
